Justin J. Hakala

Overview

Justin Hakala’s practice focuses upon the representation of clients injured as a result of product liability, medical malpractice, automobile negligence, unsafe practices on construction sites and general negligence. In addition to his practice, he frequently writes on a variety of legal issues and recently published Product Liability in Michigan, which is the leading treatise on product liability law in Michigan. He has also written on the requirements of expert witnesses and served as the Publications Editor for the State Bar of Michigan Antitrust Section.

Justin has served as a volunteer researcher for the American Antitrust Institute, in Washington, D.C. and is a former Judicial Intern to the Honorable Nancy G. Edmunds of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He is a cum laude graduate of Wayne State University Law School where he was an Assistant Editor of the Wayne Law Review as well as a Moot Court National Team Member.
